EV Charging in Iowa

Iowa is actively expanding its electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, supported by substantial federal funding and state-led initiatives. The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) is spearheading efforts to strategically deploy chargers along major transportation arteries to accommodate the increasing number of EVs, which have tripled in registration since 2020.
